FLORAVIN RESERVE MERLOT 2006 We closely manage the grapes for this estate grown Merlot. Excess fruit is dropped to ensure maximum ripeness, and the grapes are handpicked in optimum condition. Aged entirely in oak for 19 months is a big, rich Merlot. It displays aromas of blackberry, spice, plums and cedar. The palate is full bodied and weighty with mulberry, blackberry, cassis, chocolate and spice flavours. Beautifully balanced and with a long and generous mouthfeel, this 100% Merlot is an excellent example of a Bordeaux wine. It is expected to age gracefully for at least 8-10 years.
